Qualifying Countries from Oceana and South America

Only one Ociana Country qualified, and that is:


New- Zealand

South American Countries who qualified includes:

Argentina Brazil Chili


Paraguay Uruguay


That's it!!! The 32 Countries who qualified for the 2010 Soccer World Cup.

As already said, the next date on the countdown calendar is the 04th December 2009 when the final draw of the teams will be done. Everybody is waiting for this date as the airlines will open their flight schedules just after the final draw.

Once that happens, flight tickets will be bought and with that the search for accommodation will be done as well. Early Birds will get the best accommodation of course, so, don't be late as you might find yourself without a place to stay!!!!

Interesting is that Honduras last qualified for a World Cup in 1982, yet they are currently ranked at 35!!

Europian Countries qualifying for 2010 Soccer

The largest qualifying group is from Europe, making up 13 Countries including:


Denmark England France Germany


Greece Italy Netherlands Portugal


Serbia Slovakia Slovania Spain


Switzerland



Serbia and Slovakia will be participating under their own flags for the first time.


In the next blog I will list the Countries of Northern and Central America, Oceana and South America, which will conclude the 32 qualifying Countries.

Africa Countries Qualifying for 2010 Soccer

Ke Nako!! It's Time!!


Another goal towards next year's Soccer World Cup was reached at the end of November 2009 when the qualification rounds were finalised. All 7 previous Cup winners qualified and 18 of the world's best teams also qualified!!

This certainly sets the stage for some spectacular soccer to be played and watched in 2010!!

The 6 African Countries who qualified, including South Africa, the Host Country are:

Algeria


Cameroon



Ivory Coast


Ghana



Nigeria


South Africa



4 Asian Countries also qualified and include:


Australia



Japan



North Corea



South Corea



The next goal in the countdown towards the kick-off date is the 04 December 2009 when the final draw will take place in Cape Town. On this date the teams will be divided into 8 groups of 4 each, and the next morning the Airlines will open the flights for bookings!!

Be sure to book your accommodation early as a huge shortage of accommodation will be experienced.
